The upper uses lightweight MOTION WRAP 3.0 material which is an updated version of the 2.0 that we've seen in the past, it's ideal for advanced breathability, comfort, and fit allowing greater toe splay with a snug mid-foot hold. A full-length carbon plate and FF TURBO PLUS foam—the lightest and most responsive midsole material from ASICS has been joined by FF LEAP™ cushioning in the midsole which is a soft and springy foam that's significant to the METASPEED RAY that sits above the FF TURBO PLUS. Additionally, the EDGE TOKYO's carbon plate is positioned lower and angled for more aggressive forward propulsion.
